- reference and background checks,
- drug testing,
- equipment and property management, and

This online workshop will provide participants with an overview of common benefits that small businesses provide to employees that are not required. To avoid creating unnecessary administrative and monetary burdens that can come back to bite you, you need to understand what benefits are actually required versus what may just be a common HR “best practice”.
Participants in this online workshop will learn about:
- common leave policies provided that are not often required,
- common leave policies that are required, but often forgotten in NC,
- PTO, vacation and sick leave payments provided to employees that are not required in NC, and
- leave payments provided to employee that are not required in NC.
